April 21 - No School - Spring Holiday
May 1 - 1:30 PM Dismissal - Staff Professional Development in the afternoon
May 3 - Peoria Chiefs baseball game - Students will be back by dismissal
May 19 - Novak Cares - 1:00 - 2:30 PM
May 25 - Last Day of School for Students
Novak Senior Celebration at 6:00 PM at Champaign Early Childhood Center
Centennial Prom - Purchase Tickets from Mables
PROM is coming! All juniors and seniors are cordially invited to attend PROM. Please note the following details:
Date: April 29, 2023
Location: iHotel, Champaign, IL
Time: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM (doors open at 6:45 and close at 7:30 with admittance after 7:30)
Cost: $50 per TICKET
A Buffet Dinner is included with your ticket and will begin at 7:00 PM
Tickets will go on sale the week of April 24
If your date is NOT a Centennial student, you must get permission for them to attend. You can NOT purchase their ticket without all of the following completed:
You will pick up a permission slip in the main office from Mrs. Mables
Give it to your date
Your date's principal or assistant principal must sign it, then return it to you
Bring the completed form with you and submit it when you purchase their ticket
Central Prom - Purchase Tickets from Mables
Date: May 6, 2023

Scholarship Opportunities
Novak Resilience Award - Deadline Approaching
We are excited to share a $500 scholarship with you that is only available to Novak students that plan to attend a college or university by August 2023. Please see the attached document and application to apply for the scholarship. You may submit your application to me via email by May 5.
