PBIS February Theme of Cooperation
Cooperation is working together as a team to reach a common goal. You never know what knowledge or skill a teammate has that could help. It's important to acknowledge that new ideas are always valuable. A cooperative person is willing to share and listen and tries to resolve conflicts with others calmly. Novak students will practice these skills while working on exhibits for a Gallery Walk for Black History Month.
Scholarships - FREE MONEY!
Novak Academy Resilience Scholarship
I am excited to share a $500 scholarship with you that is only available to Novak students who plan to attend a college or university by August 2024. Please see the attached document and application to apply for the scholarship. You may submit your application to Mrs. Mables via email at mablesch@u4sd.org.
Vincent O. Greene Scholarship ($2,500)
Two students from each school can earn the scholarship and Novak students are part of their home school count. Scholarship applications are due Friday, March 1, 2024 at noon. The information after the link is from the application to help with how you share this with the students. Please make sure to give them all pertinent details.
