May 23 - Novak Senior Celebration @ CECC (More details to follow)
May 30 - Last day of school for students
Lunch Information
This school year, Novak Academy will be piloting a new lunch system that allows students to order their lunch for the school day online. Students will have the opportunity to order daily or for the week. Food must be ordered by 9:45 AM each day. The link to order school lunches is on the Novak Website and included in the PDF attached. Please review the PDF for additional information on ordering a school lunch.
PBIS Focus - Respect & Generosity
Respect: Treating others how you want to be treated. Everyone's views may not be the same, but they are all important. Being respectful is not interfering with other people's right to look, think, or act. We must also respect ourselves by making choices that keep us safe.
Generosity: The quality of being kind and giving. Students will work to show gratitude and generosity by planning and conducting the Novak Games for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Prom is quickly approaching
All prom tickets will be purchased from Mrs. Mables at Novak for Novak students. You will still need to meet all criteria shared to attend the prom.
Central: Saturday, May 4th, 7 PM -11 PM at the I-Hotel!
Centennial: Saturday, May 11, 7 PM -11 PM at the I-Hotel. Tickets will be on sale April 19 -May 1
Novak Academy Resilience Scholarship
I am excited to share a $500 scholarship with you that is only available to Novak students who plan to attend a college or university by August 2024. Please see the attached document and application to apply for the scholarship. You may submit your application to Mrs. Mables via email at mablesch@u4sd.org.
